Customer complaint gets messy as man rams Rolls Royce through Tesco window

They say that the customer is always right. While a number of brands might forget the importance of customer service,  few complainants go as far as Robert Caton, 50, who recently drove his Rolls Royce through the window of a Tesco store.

Caton flew into a drunken rage after visiting the supermarket to discuss his complaint with managers there – a bed ordered from Tesco Direct had been delivered without a mattress. He asked security guards how long it would take to evacuate the store as he was going to drive his car in there (does this count as fair warning?) and then busted through the glass front of the store with his 1983 Silver Spirit model as staff and shoppers cowered in panic.

Now, we all know that it’s deeply annoying when an online order turns up incomplete (store staff couldn’t help Caton as his order had been taken online by Tesco Direct rather than in store) but this takes things a little far….
